Secretary-General:
JAXON PIERCE
Jaxon (he/him) is delighted to serve as the Secretary-General of YMUN LIII. After gaining first-hand experience of committee by chairing YMUN LI, and serving as the USG of Regional Bodies for LII, YMUN has been an integral part of Jaxon’s Yale career. He is from Boise, Idaho, and studies History & Political Science. Outside of YMUN, Jaxon is the Captain of the Yale Men’s Volleyball Team, Case Team Lead for Yale Global Strategies Consulting, Director for YMUN Europe, and serves on the Yale Sophomore Class Council. In his free time, you will find Jaxon taking long walks around campus, trying new coffee shops, and traveling to other universities to compete in volleyball. Jaxon is happy to answer all of your questions at secgen@ymun.org and is so excited to meet all of the future diplomats and leaders joining us in January!

LIAM DRAKE
Liam Drake (he/him) is a freshman in Pauli Murray College studying political science and comparative literature with a certificate in French, and he’s honored to bring YMUN LIII to life as Director-General of Operations! He hails from Durham, North Carolina, home to the best barbecue and the best college basketball in the United States, where he competed in Model UN conferences throughout high school. At Yale, he served as Under-Secretary-General of International Recruitment for YMUN Europe XV, and you might have seen him last year as Assistant-Secretary-General of Delegations for YMUN LII. Liam is also involved with the University Church in Yale and Hemispheres. In his free time, Liam plays piano, listens to classical music, reads good books, and explores New Haven’s restaurant scene. RIYASHI VARIA
Riyashi Varia (she/her) is a first-year in Pierson College, and is thrilled to serve as your Director-General of Committees for YMUN LIII. She is from Bergen County, New Jersey, and is a Mechanical Engineering and Political Science major. YMUN was the very first conference she attended as a high school delegate, and she’s beyond excited to be on the other side, leading an incredible YMUN experience. Riyashi previously served on the Secretariat for YMUN LII and is currently also the Under-Secretary-General of Committees for YMUN South Asia. Outside of YMUN, she serves on the Executive Board for Engineers Without Borders and as a Case Team Lead for the Global Strategy Consulting Group. In her free time, she loves going on food crawls, side-questing with friends, and fine-tuning her ever-growing Spotify playlists. JACK LUDWICK
Jack is a sophomore in Grace Hopper College from Charlotte, North Carolina majoring in Global Affairs and Religious Studies. Jack is very involved in the YMUN world, serving on YMUN LI, YMUN Korea, YMUN LII, YMUN Singapore, and now YMUN LIII! He is also involved in the Yale International Relations Association as the Alumni Director. On campus, Jack is involved in the Sophomore Class Council, a member of the Yale Curling Team, and the Chair for St. Thomas More, the Catholic center on campus. In his free time, Jack enjoys watching college football, playing guitar, and going on hikes. Jack is a huge country music fan and his favorite artists are Luke Combs, Tyler Childers, and Evan Honer.
